Sorry if this has already been answered somewhere, i have seen several people reporting it on other posts but didnt not see a solution.
I am in the process of upgrading our servers from umbraco 4.7.0 to 4.9.1. After following the instructions for upgrading at http://our.umbraco.org/wiki/install-and-setup/upgrading-an-umbraco-installation we have found several pictures around the site which had been inserted into pages using 'insert picture' in rich text editors have this as the url of the picture "/~/media/2377858/a.jpg"
A save and publish on that particular page sets the path back to "/media2377858/a.jpg" and the image reappears.
To fix this site wide I have tried re-publishing the top node and checking the publish all subpages box. I have also tried running http;//YOURDOMAIN/Umbraco/dialogs/republish.aspx?xml=true which i found on http://our.umbraco.org/wiki/reference/api-cheatsheet/publishing-and-republishing but neither of these update the media paths.
Does anyone know whether there is either a way to do a save & publish to all published pages on the site that would have the same effect as an individual one, or if i may have overlooked something when doing the upgrade.
