I have come across a strange issue with Umbraco. When I set up a website locally, the Umbraco back-end runs impossibly slow (front-end of the website seems to be better, but not impressive) - It's happened on 3 different machines. Sometimes I have to wait a minute to be logged in to Umbraco, to save or refresh something - it's a nightmare unabling to work. I would expect the local setup would work like a snap. I don't experience this problem when the website is deployed on the server (either Azure on any other server).
I have seen other posts about performance issues, but they aren't specific to the localhost setup, perhaps the issue is the same though. I have tried many different options, having the DB externally or locally and it doesn't seem to make any difference.
The setup I'm experiencing issues with is:
- Umbraco 4.7 - Visual Studio - TFS - IIS - DB on Azure
Umbraco - Very Poor Performance Locally
Hi all,

Has anyone come across this problem?
Any help would be appreciated.
