Changing the width of the 'Content' panel in the admin interface
Does anyone know of a way to change the width of the content panel in the admin inteface?
I have some nodes with longs names all which start the same and it's a little awkward to scroll the panel around to find out which is which to edit them.
The width of the content tree panel is a percentage of your screen size, so the only way (currently) to make this bigger is to get a bigger monitor! ;-)
More seriously though I wanted to mention this feature (making this splitter resizable) has been requested before and can be voted upon or followed up on in the issue tracker as U4-229: Feature request - drag and drop tree and draggable splitter. Please take a look and give it a vote if you think this would be a nice & useful addition to Umbraco!
You should perhaps also consider raising your voice in the Umbraco UX discussion since the new backoffice "Belle" will be implemented in version 7 of Umbraco. You can participate here: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/umbraco-ux
