Can preview mode cause OutorMemory Exceptions?

    Hi,

The company I work for is using umbraco 4.7.0, and it contains a LOT of content for the site. When they (editors) view unpublished content in preview mode, often times they would forget to click the link in the top right corner to exit preview mode. This results in a lot of temporary cache files accumulating in the preview folder (yesterday I cleared out more than 4.5 GBs of just preview caches!). Right around the time this all started happening, the site would run fine for a while, then start throwing System.OutofMemoryException whenever we try to un/publish, move, or delete content. I had to restart the site to fix this, but it will eventually happen again, requiring another restart.

Does anyone know if it is possible that the preview mode is somehow causing this? I'm at a complete loss as to what is going on. BTW: The server is high end. Tons of memory, plenty of hard drive space, etc. When I look on task manager, barely any memory is used at all, and the CPU usage is small.

    Any help is appreciated. Thanks!!

    -Sean
