    Content not displaying on new install

    Umbraco 4.11.3.1, new install. created a doc type and template. In content created a new page, i have one generic property ( a simple editor).

    When I save a publish the page is blank. If I manually add some text to the template that appears when published. one weird thing is in umbraco.config the text that should be publishing has <![CDATA[... ]]> around it. What is causing this? And is it the reason?

    Any thoughts?

    Worked it out!!! Needed to add the field on the template
