    v6 media folder protection

    General

    I have looked through the features in v6 and see there is a lot of changes with regards to the media section.  Does anyone know if there is going to be an easier way to protect content in the media folder in v6?

    Hi Richard

    I don't believe any thoughts have been made regarding this issue. I think you should make a feature request on the issue tracker issues.umbraco.org/issues/U4 about it since it's something that should be handled out of the box imho.

    Hi Richard,

    There is no easy way to protect media nodes. But if you are looking for a solution today, you might want to check out media protect.This will protect media in the exact same way you protect content nodes.http://our.umbraco.org/projects/website-utilities/media-protect
