Missing Nodes in Umbraco Panel

I am working on a website. Some times nodes are missing in panel but still you see links in website.

When I sort the sub nodes , I see nothing.

Also I unpublish the content and publish it back , still no clue.

Any idea?

Hey,

What version of Umbraco are you using?

Also, when you say the panel, do you mean the tree on the left hand side?

Might be more help if you couls post an image.
