I have run into a problem with my Umbraco 6.1.1 website.
After creating a new folder the new folder and the nabourgh folder is now showing up twice in the media tree. See the screenshot below. The duplicate nodes have the same node id, so they are the same node.
I have tried recycling the app pool and I have deleted the temp files. But the doubles refuse to leave.
Then I copied the site and database from the live server to my local machine and instantly the doubles did not show on my local build.
Double folders showing in media section
Hi Guys,
I have run into a problem with my Umbraco 6.1.1 website.
After creating a new folder the new folder and the nabourgh folder is now showing up twice in the media tree. See the screenshot below. The duplicate nodes have the same node id, so they are the same node.

I don't understand. Anyone know what to do?

This might be an upgrade issue with the plugin caching. Try removing the folder: ~/App_Data/TEMP/PluginCache and restart your app pool.
Hi Shannon,
I did that, with no effect. That was my first idea as well. Deleted the browser cache as well.

Breakthrough I think.
After much tampering I tried to sort the nodes, and that seems to have "sorted" the problem.
I just got a few years older...
