I'm hoping you guys might be able to shed some light on a problem I've been having with page timeouts in Umbraco 4.7X.
Basically, the users of our site need to have longer access to pages to enable them to fill in controls over a longer period of time - a simple increase in page timeout would resolve this - or so I thought.
I have increased the timeout in the web.config (specifically <add key="umbracoTimeOutInMinutes" value="60" /> )to 60 minutes although 20 minutes seems the be the best we can achieve. I have also temporarily removed the asp.net application pool timeout but to no avail.
Is there something I am missing here ? Our users are still complainging that after 20 minutes or so, Umbraco is requireing them to log back in and partitally completed forms and data not saved is then lost.

What version of Umbraco 4.7 are you using? It might be fixed in 4.7.2 or 4.8.
