Admin login not working after migration to new server. Uses MySQL as db.

As the subject states, I've migrated some sites to a new server and am having the same issue with each site that uses a MySQL database.

The front end of the website works fine after updating file permissions and importing the MySQL databases. But when I try to login to the admin section, it simply will not accept my username and password. The input boxes shake and the border turns red. I'm verifying that the creds are correct by logging into the same site on the original server.

    Solutions I've tried:

    Checking password format

    Modifying permissions

    Upgrade version of Umbraco

Remove version number from web.config to reinitiate the install process

Note, I've tried each solution on a fresh copy of the original site.

Any one have any thoughts or ideas as to what my problem may be?

What version of Umbraco are you using?  I would sniff the log file located at app_data/logs/umbracotracelog.txt and see if anything stinks.
