Up until Umbraco version 4.5 you used to be able to right-click on a section icon to quickly open that section in a new tab. I've been missing this feature ever since, and I finally decided to do something about it. I'm not sure if anyone has created something like this before, but I've set up a little Firefox add-on which allows you to quickly open the Content, Settings, Developer and/or Media sections in new tabs, after logging in to the Umbraco backend. It also allows you to toggle debug information (umbdebugshowtrace).

Download (umbraco-tools.xpi)
Installation: just drag and drop the file in a Firefox browser window.
Enjoy!
Maybe share this on Twitter so more people can know about it :-)
