Are you logged in with a Admin account? or you havebeen assigned auser account, If this the last case the person who have created the user account to you, can decide which sections you should be allowed to have access too. So if it the last case, you should contact an admininstor on the Umbraco solution and he can give you access to the member section. If you are administrator, plase be sure that there is tick in the member section under Users --> Users --> Your udername --> When you are on your user there is a heading called sections, there should be a tick in Members.
I have made a screenshot of the setting on the user.
Then I think you should take contact to the person who had created your Umbraco user for you, and then asked him to give you access to the member section. Or you could go under Users and find your profile, and then try to see if you could set tick in Members, for your user profile, orwhether it has alreadychecked the members section on.
I´m working as a frontend developer, so I don´t have any experience working with the Content API, the technologiesthat I usewhenI build Umbraco sites is:
HTML / XHTML, CSS / CSS3, Javscript / jQuery, XSLT and Razor.
Don't see member section in umbraco
