I have a couple of v6.1.6 sites (small) using SQL CE databases. I recently upgraded to Windows 8.1 and IE 11 (I know ... use a real browser).
I've had some intermittent errors in the backend while using the RTE since upgrading, but I can't reproduce them reliably.
What I have been able to reproduce is that many of the functions in the RTE do not work when using IE 11. For example, clicking on the HTML icon to open source view results in a blank window. Clicking on the link icon to create a hyperlink shows the dialog but no hyperlink is created.
I can change the Document Mode to IE 10 under the Emulation section of the developer tools and everything works.
Has anyone else experienced this or know of a fix?

Hi Wayne,
Please create a issue on the Umbraco bug tracker with details of how to reproduce the problems.
I guess the solution might be to upgrade TinyMce....
Thanks,
Jeavon
A search of the TinyMce website shows that this is a known bug with versions of TinyMce prior to 4.x
Ok, I'm pretty sure that Umbraco v6 has TinyMce v3 while Umbraco v7 ships with TinyMce v4, so sounds like v6 might need upgrading also
Hey Wayne,
Did you create an issue on the tracker?
Jeavon
Yes, the issue was created a few days ago.
Hi Guys,
I am experiencing the same problem. Can I have a link for the issue, so that I can vote it up?
