Issue if user permission is saved in 6.1.6

    Hello,

the publish permission on an editor user is not saved.

I do following in the user section:

    1. deactivate the publish-permission on a specific node for a editor user and save
        Then the publish-permission is deactivated

    2. activate the publich-permission on the same node for the same editor user and save
        The publish-permission is deactivated, too

Umbraco 6.1.6, Windows Server 2008 R2, MS SQL Server 2012

Is this an issue? Any idea?

    Best regards

    Sören

    Hi,

it's very important to solve this as soon as possible! This standard function must be work in next week, because we have a big new website for a customer with 20 users and different permissions.

    Have anyone this issue, too?

    Best regards

    Sören

    Dear core team,

is it too much just requires time to get a short answer? I am very disappointed...

I'm the only one who in the community has this problem currently? Can anyone reproduce this issu?

After restart the application pool it works now. But I had this issue in 3 other umbraco instances, very strange.

Just seen this issue on my local dev setup on a 7.2.1 setup. Permissions where kept over the course of multiple logout/login actions in the same browser. Went away after doing an IISReset. Fairly confusing.

Have checked YouTrack issue list, doesn't seem to be any issues regarding this. Maybe an issue should be raised?

    Hi Jesper,

thank you for your feedback! I have this error can no longer find in the current versions.

I have now tested it several times in 7.2.2, but it no longer occurs.

Did you get this in other instances of the same version also can find?

Do you use SQLCE? If so, maybe it could be because.

I had the last course many problems, because content and DocTypes disappeared several times.  And also went away after doing an IISReset. I have read in last month a lot of topics on our with similar issues associated with SQLCE.

    Best,

    Sören

Got it on 7.2.1 on a production site, hosted in a load balanced env., so it's pretty far from SQLCE ;)

Haven't upgraded to 7.2.2 yet (it's a fairly lengthy proces on this site), so cannot say if upgrading will work.
