Database seems to be the main bottleneck - when more than one editor is working in the back end it just locks up for some time. Front end pages are several seconds in responding too.
We've tried every performance improvement we could think of - there really does seem to be something broken underneath.
Has anyone done a big-ish site in 6.1.6 and got it performing ok?
6.1.6 large site performance issues
