Robots.txt not found in developer section of umbraco.

    Hi,

I had installed Cultive DynamicRobots Package on my site. and I found roborts.txt file in developer section.

But suddnly it's not found in developer section of umbraco.

I checed root directory of build and it's there but why not in developer section of umbraco?

    Hi Nikuni

What version of Umbraco are you using? And can you access the robots.txt from your disk or is it also missing from there?

    /Jan

    Hi Nikunj

Ok - Have you tried looking in the /app_data/logs file to see if it reveals anything. Look for stuff marked with "ERROR".

    Cheers, Jan

    Not found anything!

But i had upgraded umbraco from 4.9.0 to 4.11.10.

    Does it create problem?

    And i'm using Cultiv.DynamicRobots 1.0.0.

    Hi Nikunj

Perhaps the package used for making it possible to access the robots.txt is not support in that version of Umbraco?

    /Jan

Just I tried re-installation of package and now it’s available in developer.

Is it safe way? And may I do this on live?

    Hi Nikunj

Ok, maybe something was overwritten once you did your upgrade?

As far as I remember the package used is not doing that much so it should probably be safe to do on a live site. However I would probably make a backup of the database first.

    Cheers, Jan
