I am just new at using umbraco, I installed it and openeed it up in visual studio, it built and I can see the website.
I goto http://localhost:47495/Umbraco to access the admin panel and it requires a user name and password, but this was never set. None of the documentation explains how to login in here. What am I missing? Is there a default User Name and Password?
Did you run through the installation at http://localhost:47495/install/ when you first installed the site? If so, you will have entered an email and password. That will be your back office username and password.
Like Dan said, If you ran through the installation (launched it for the first time) you would have had to go through a few things inside the browser to set it up.
It will have asked for an email and password and this would be your login details at http://domain/umbraco.
