    Trying to figure out how Umbraco database works

    General

    Hi,

    I have a database backup of an Umbraco installation (v 4.0.3) and I am trying to understand it for migration.

    The questions that I have is

    1. How are categories and content related?

    2. How is the URL generated and mapped?

    3. Where is the heading and content stored?(tables)

    4. How is media mapped to content?

    Can anyone please point me to an article which will get me started?

    It might also help to just look at the Umbraco source code and see how everything is mapped.
