Hi All

Please bear with me but I am hoping one of you Umbraco/.Net genius' will have some solution on how to do this.

I am using Umbraco 4.7.1

I need to serve up a secured ical/ics file to an iPhone from my umbraco site. This file is user specific (based on their membership login), so I create it dynamically.

iPhone's have the ability to subscribe to calendars (iCal/ics files) and you can enter a username and password. As far as I can work out this username and password is sent via basic authentication.

So my questions are:

1: has anyone ever got this to work through Umbraco?

2: Is it possible to make a single page authenticate using basic authentication rather than forms?

Any help would be very much appreciated.
