I have an umbraco 4.0.1 installation running in production for a few months with no apparent problems.
Recently I developed a simple log viewer to read the data from the umbracoLog table, and I found that for every publish I make, I get two pubish logs, with just a second of time difference. At first I thought it was somehow a logging problem, but I think it might be that the nodes are actually being published twice each time someone execs a publish, like generating two new versions instead of just one...
I'm not sure why this could happen.. I did not change anything in the umbraco core, and like I said, everything seems to be working ok on the site...
I see the same thing too. I also am creating a log viewer for the client and would like to understand this or know how to filter this to just one entry.
