If I create an image node in the media section but do not actually attach an image file to it, when I attempt to delete this node the umbraco directory is deleted.
Looking at IIS logs I can see that the service /umbraco/webservices/legacyajaxcalls.asmx/delete is called but the node is never deleted as the Umbraco directory is deleted first.
