Can't delete member where member login starts with a digit

I don't seem to be able to delete members where login names start with a digit i.e "8889". Any idea's?

Hi,

I just faced the same problem... have 1500+ members cerated with a 5-digit loginname, and now my client has startet to "clean up"... and he's very frustrated that he can't delete them.. :-/

Have you found a solution yet?
