The blog package can easily be modified to accomodate your needs. When it's installed out of the box there are no properties for page title and meta keywords and meta description. But it's really just a matter of adding the properties from the settings section and modify/or add a XSLT macro in the template.
With the URL rewriting module you can create url's how you like them but I think the url's generated by Umbraco by default are very clean. But as mentioned it can be done any way you like.

What is everyones experience using Umbraco Blog Package and SEO - i.e. can we do basics like create title tags and clean URL's etc - things like that?
