Maybe a bit off topic, but here goes...
Where in the code base does Umbraco save the umbraco.config file? It seems Umbraco has no problems writing to the App_Data folder, and another web application (BlogEngine.NET) cannot. I'm running both sites on Surftown (Denmark).
