I sow that when I press publish temp file is being generated. Could you explain me what is the purpose of temp files in App_Data folder, not only this ones which are generated after publishing the website?
Mybe in the forum there was a similar topic but I could not find it....
The App_Data/TEMP folder contains the cache files used by Examine (the Lucene search indexer) and the ClientDependency Framework (caches back end js and css etc).
The App_Data/preview folder contains the XML generated by the preview in the back end.
The App_Data/{guid} folders are left there by package installs
App_Data/umbraco.config is the file that contains the generated XML for the website
App_Data/access.config copntains the information used to secure member areas of the website
Not sure about any of the others. Hope that helps!
Yes It helps, Thanks for your answer, but how can I understand more about how Umbraco works. I downloaded the whole project but if there is some documentation I can learn much quicker....
