    4.7 not showing image cropper

    Hi There,

I have just upgrade my install to 4.7 and it's not showing the image cropper. I have downloaded and installed it but no luck. Has anyone else had this issue? And if so any resolutions about?

    Hi Sean

Hmm...the image cropper should be a part of the default datatypes within v4.7 I think?

Otherwise is it possible for you to create it manually by going to the developer section, right click on the "datatypes" folder and select "create".

Here you should write "Image cropper" and hit create. Now on the screen that appears choose the "image cropper" in the render control dropdown box and hit "save".

Now you should be able to configure the image cropper and use it on your document types.

    Hope this helps.

    /Jan

    Hi Jan,

Here is a sample of what I mean here. This part is missing on my new install. Did I do something wrong?

    Hi Sean

Ehm...that's a bit hard to tell...judging from the image you posted it seems it looks correct?

    Hi Jan,

I should have been more specific. The image above is what i'm expecting to see, I'm not seeing that at all. There is nothing appearing in my 4.7 install. I can see the images, it's like the whole panel with all the dimensions is missing.

Any ideas what I need to check?

So you see the image cropper portion with the crop area & handles, just not the crop types at the bottom?  Check that they exist in the prevalue settings in the Developer -> Data Types section.

    HI Tom,

I'm not sure what you're referring to. I have a screen shot of the image cropper here http://www.shopsmart.com.au/image-cropper.jpg

Is there some setting that's missing?

There's 2 data types named "Image cropper" in that list, does it help removing one?

I seem to be having similar problem with version 4.7.2 ... sometimes the cropper selection boxes appear (together with the re-sizer) but other times it just appears as a static picture with no cropper controls. I can't see amy rhyme or reason to it - sometimes it appears OK and other times not.
