    4.7: Breaking changes to library.NiceUrl

    It seems that there have been breaking changes to NiceUrl after upgrading from 4.5 to 4.7.

    Previously library.NiceUrl did not append the domain whereas now it does. Needless to say, this has messed up a lot of our website.

    Is there anything we can do about this?

    Normally umbraco appends the domain if you set 'useDomainPrefixes' in the umbracoSettings.config to true, so is it turned off?

    OK, yes useDomainPrefixes is set to 'true'.

    My subversion logs says it has been 'true' since May 2007 (when we were using Umbraco V2 Beta), so I assume that something big must have changed with NiceUrl in the last update! I'll trying setting it to false and see if it has any effect on the site.
