    Easiest way to get thousands of files from file system to Umbraco Media

    What is the easiest way to get thousands of files and folders from Windows File System to Umbraco Media so they appear for CMS in Media like they are on File System?

    Hi Jukka-Pekka,

    The Desktop Media Uploader should get you part of the way - though it probably depends on the types of files you want to upload.

    Another option would be to write a custom provider for the Universal Media Picker (if someone hasn't already) - Again, depends on how you need to interact with the files afterwards.
