    Request timed out

    I'm getting [HttpException (0x80004005): Request timed out.] when trying to visit any child page of my Umbraco site. The frontpage shows up just fine but when clicking any of the links to any of the subpages the request times out. 

    I've tried increasing the timeout value in web.config etc but no help. Any good ideas on how I could troubleshoot this problem?

    Hi Stig,

    Do your page template/macros try to make any external web-requests? Thinking of things like Twitter feeds, RSS etc?
