I've got a intranet area set up on my test site using a standard asp.net login control.
It works perfectly with Chrome/Safari/Firefox, ie logging in and browsing to intranet area pages, and always shows as logged in on the loginstatus, and the login process always redirects no problem.
However when I try in IE 9 and IE 7/8 using the compatibility modes, I can login to the protected area, it redirects to the intranet homepage and also shows as logged in on the loginstatus. But as soon as I click to a intranet page link it goes back to the login page and no longer shows as being logged in, it's like it's not storing the cookie for some reason. I've set IE privacy settings to default, cookies are on and so is scripting.
I had the IE cookie settings set so they would'nt allow certain cookies. doh. And IE's reset settings to default does'nt seem to include the cookies, bah.
However I have a new problem:
After I click on the logout link, they click on the intranet area link, it shows me as still logged in and I can still browse the protected pages. And there's no UMB_MEMBER or yourauthcookie active, is this to do with sessions?
Membership / Login Internet Explorer Issues
Hey all
I've got a intranet area set up on my test site using a standard asp.net login control.
Any ideas?
Thanks, Pete
