Hi, hope this is the right place for my strange little problem.
Customer's using Umbraco 4.7.1. I created a user control a couple of years ago and put on the dashboard.
This UC searches the content tree for a specific folder and lists the content of that in a gridview.
The gridview can be used to delete items in the folder.
Today when the Customer started Umbraco, the content tree started to load itself, but before it displayed the page url suddenly reverted to the dashboard content and this is shown alone in the page. The content tree fails to display itself on the left side and it is not possible to view it.
Has anyone experienced this before? Anyone know what is going on?
I suspect I must put the UC in a traditional template for a conventional page. But what the heck happens here?
It doesn't help to comment out the dashboard plugins. No matter which section I try to open directly (i.e. xxxx.no/umbraco/umbraco.aspx#developer) the section does not finish loading itself before I'm rerouted (i.e. to xxx.no/umbarco/dashboard.aspx?app=developer)
I tried recycling apppool also to no avail. Maybe this thread should be placed under UI / usage questions?
Anyway, right now this umbraco installation is useless!
