    umbraco.uQuery.GetMediaByXPath(string xpath)

    Hello all,

umbraco.uQuery.GetMediaByXPath(string xpath) is very slow on my installation.

Has anyone else found this? Is there a better solution for getting media by XPath?

    Thanks

    Scott

    Hi Jan,

    4.9.0

I notice caching was turned off and have turned it back on. Does the media get cached in umbraco? If so how do I rebuild it?

    Many thanks

It could also be slower if you have a lot of media because the media xml isn't cached.
