Right Peter, and it would be even more great if that was part of the build process. I've heard that it took too much time to generate those, but that shouldn't be a showstopper in my opinion. Maybe it should not be part of the continious integration process, but at least for 'official' releases, an offline api would be of great help!!
In general I like online documentation but I fly quite often and in the plane and airport it is good time to have stuff offline. I guess I just run Castle myself then. Would be nice though to have it in download.
API Offline documentation
Is there a link for downloading API documentation in CHM file or some other format for viewing offline?
To the best of my knowledge there hasn't been one generated for the API.
Reflector is all the documentation you should need :P
Im pretty sure that they used Castle Docs to create the online version http://docs.umbraco.org/apiDocs/index.html from that they can generate an offline CHM file.
You could just download the source and run Castle Docs over it yourself and generate the CHM if you really dont like using the online API docs.
