Does anybody know how to enable cross-origin requests in a surface controller?
Setting the "Access-Control-Allow-Origin" header appears to have no effect, perhaps Umbraco is overriding this somewhere?

Have you tried route hijacking? I.E before the page is rendered? It was just an idea. Charlie :)
