Hi
I like to know the support for .Net 3.5. I like to install and use Umbraco 4.0.2.1 with Visual Studio 2008 + .NET 3.5 Framework.
Is it supports Linq to SQL?
Please let me know.
Thanks,
R
Yes, Umbraco supports .NET 3.5, you need to download the specific 3.5 web.config file here http://umbraco.codeplex.com/Release/ProjectReleases.aspx?ReleaseId=23321
Thanks Rich Green.
What about LINQ to SQL support? Does umbraco support Linq to SQL?
Umbraco runs under .NET framework 3.5 which supports Linq to SQL.
You can write asp.net user controls which query the db in Linq to SQL and then use these usercontrols within Umbraco.
Post back if you need anymore info.
When you use the 3.5 config all 3.5 framework features are supported. Also if you're not aware 4.1 is being upgraded to a 3.5 SP1 native install
is working on a reply...
