when uploading a file to the media library, umbraco (4.11.10) renames the original filename.
Doc2 + 3.doc --> Doc2-plus-3.doc
Abkürzungen.doc --> Abkuerzungen.doc (hint: we added some characters to umbracoSettings.config - urlReplacing, because we have to deal with german and french characters. Therefore ü --> ue)
Is there a way (config setting?) to prevent umbraco from renaming the uploaded file and keeping the original filename (node names are no problem, just the name of uploaded files)? In earlier versions (4.11.1) this seams to be the case.
If not, could someone point me to the (internal?) umbraco method which does the renaming?
