Thanks for your reply. But I need core code of UMBRACO for version 4.11.8, if you go to GITHUB you can get code for V 4.11.9 or V 4.11.7. But no code for V 4.11.8.
Another option could be Lee Kelleher´s he has made an unofficial Umbraco Archive Releases, http://code.leekelleher.com/umbraco/archive/ maybe he has a copy of source code for Umbraco version 4.11.8
Thanks for your reply. We don't see any changes in the core. The problem we are facing is that it is throwing up issues with in the core. To add clarity, during publishing it is throwing up a YSOD(Yellow Screen of Death) in the RELATEDLINKSDATA class in the ToXML function. We want to debug this to see what is the problem and currently we are not able to do that as we do not have the source code.
Please find attached screenshot for further clarification.
Are you guyes using the related links datatype? Or have you made som custom integrations against Umbraco using the API? Have you tried having a look in the /app_data/logs folder to see if the log file reveals some more information?
I'm pretty confident that if something was wrong in the core with this issue then it would have been reported long ago since there are many versions based on this install.
Yes, we are using related links data type and that is why it is showing this error. We have not made any custom integrations agains UMBRACO using the API. I have checked the logs but not much information regarding it.
Hmm ok...running out of ideas. I guess you could try and contact HQ and kindly ask if they can provide you with the source code. But you may need to buy a support license in order to do so.
I would actually rather recommend that you contact them using the contact form at first http://umbraco.com/contact/send-us-an-email.aspx - Keep in mind that the guys are quite busy and especially Sebastiaan and they have a release coming up this week.
So maybe it's better to use the general form. If they don't respond with 48 hours then maybe send a kind e-mail to Seb.
Ups my last post could be misunderstood. If it was me I would write to Sebastiaan, So I think that you should drop an email to him an explain your problems, and why you need the Umbraco source code for version 4.11.8
Edit: Try Jan idea first, use the contact form first to get in touch with Umbraco. I couldn't find the contact form :-)
Downloading UMBRACO V 4.11.8 code
Hi,
I am trying to download UMBRACO V 4.11.8 code from GITHUB but I did not get it over there.
Anybody have any idea from where I can download it?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Harshil Shukla
Hi Harshil,
You can download previously versions of Umbraco here: http://our.umbraco.org/download And for the specific version that you are asking for you can find it here:http://our.umbraco.org/contribute/releases/4118/

Hi Harshil,
I think this http://umbraco.com/follow-us/blog-archive/2013/5/1/security-update-two-major-vulnerabilities-found.aspx is the reason why you can´t find the source code for Umbraco version 4.11.8, and if you see the source code for Umbraco 6.0.5 isn't available either. You could try asking on twitter if someone have the source code for 4.11.8.
Another option could be Lee Kelleher´s he has made an unofficial Umbraco Archive Releases, http://code.leekelleher.com/umbraco/archive/
maybe he has a copy of source code for Umbraco version 4.11.8

Hi Harshil
Is there any specific reason you need to get the v4.11.8 source code? Do you need to change something in the core?

Hi Jan,
Could you please provide me any email id of HQ to whom I can communicate?
/Harshil
Hi Harshil,
You can find the emails of the Umbraco team here: http://umbraco.com/about-us/team.aspx
I would rewite to Sebastiaan he is Project manager of Umbraco's core.
/Dennis
Hi Dennis,
Thanks for your concerns. And many thanks to informing Sebastian.

Hope you get it all sorted out.
