I'm testing the new Umbraco 7 and I'm unable to create a new backoffice user by code, only new members that can't access into the backoffice. I have been trying for hours and all the examples I found were related to obsolete versions...
It's this possible in some way using the APIs, will be possible with the new Members API on v7.1 and 6.2?
I was thinking about my problem and I decided to try another aproach.
My idea is to use Members to control the registered users of my website, i updated my Umbraco instance to 7.1 (beta) and registered sucessfully new members using the partial register view that Umbraco has incorporated. Then I created a new custom member type and modified the partial view to create that new type but... Umbraco is still creating a standard member type... I have been looking for hours but I couldn't find any information about that...
Someone knows how to create a custom member through a register form?

Hi Fernando
I must admit I'm not sure if it's possible to use the member API at all in Umbraco 7.
But the new member API is the primary focus of 7.1, which is stated at the download page.
Hope this helps :)
