    How to export Member from Umbraco 4.7 site to Umbraco 6.1.6?

    Hello,

    I have one site in Umbraco 4.7 which is in Flash so Client wants site in Html so I made site in Umbraco 6.1.6. But the problem is I need to import Members from old site to new site with all member property and Site has 5 custom tables which contains nodeid of old slide.

    How to copy members and change node id to make my site up and running.

    Hi rsuthar,

    Have you seen some of the packages that you use to export members in Umbraco, e.g from one installation to another.

    One package that could help you to export members could be the MemberExport package from http://soetemansoftware.nl/ with this package you can export 200 records, with the free edition, if you need more you will have to buy a license.

    Another alternative could be CMSImport also from http://soetemansoftware.nl/ with this package you can export 500 records with the free edition.

    thank you for your reply.

    Yes I have used CMSExport but my problem is i have 5 custom table which has old node id for those members and If i import that members node ids will be different for all.

    So I want to create new members with same node id.

    Do you know how to make this?
