    Umbraco Redirect - Works On local, not on live

    Hey guys I'm using umbraco 4 and I want a node to appear in my main navigation, but when someone clicks it I want to redirect them to another page.

    So I am using:

    umbracoRedirect

    I have added this property to my datatype and selected the Node I want the user to be redirected to.

    The problem is its working on local IIS7 but its not work on production....is there a server setting or something that I need to enable?

    On the redirect is being ignored and the user is not redirected

    Have you got the URL Rewriting add-on installed on Production IIS? Assuming you have this on your local? Worth checking the config so you can see what is missing.

    Found the problem.... someone in the team put a rule inside the urlrewriting.config file with out putting it in to our local source control! - Naughty.
