    Contact Form

    Hi Everyone,

I'm brand new to Umbraco. I have read some articals about umbraco and decide to make a website using umbraco. Now I'm making a contact form. Can anyone give me some hint of where to start? or any good tutorals that may help?

You can make the form using standard ASP.Net user controls and then just include it into a page either as an Umbraco Macro or insert it directly into the MasterPage used by the document in Umbraco.

Alternatively you could look into purchasing the Umbraco Contour package which is a very nice form builder and great if you're going to be doing lots of different forms.

Also you could take a look at installing CWS as it has a contact form built in - Or this is probably what you are looking for

Sorry for the bump but anyone got more info on this?

    I can confirm that:

    - the smtp settings in my web.config are the same as those that work in another umbraco project (via .net)

    - there are no errors in my umbracolog table

Also, just wondering what email address the emails are sent from?
