I have a problem when we are creating members with double aa instead of å, the members doesn't show in the membersection. Haven't created any users with å, but the problem is with double aa.
Fx.: If I create a user with the username aalborg, it doesn't show anywhere.
Unless there is a pull request attached to the issue, which you can download and then use to overwrite certain files in your 7.1.8 install then upgrading is the way to go. It will also fix other issues as well of course.
Remember to make a backup of the database and your files before starting the upgrade in case something does not turn out as expected.
Creating members with aa
Hey Umbraco
I have a problem when we are creating members with double aa instead of å, the members doesn't show in the membersection. Haven't created any users with å, but the problem is with double aa.
Fx.: If I create a user with the username aalborg, it doesn't show anywhere.
The version of Umbraco I'm using is 7.1.8
Hi Synergi A/S,
I can see there is an issue about this on the issue tracker try to see. http://issues.umbraco.org/issue/U4-5946
Hope this helps,
/Dennis
Hej Dennis
Thank you. Did a search in the issue tracker, but didn't see that one.
So the only solution is to upgrade to 7.2.1 ?

Hi Kristoffer
Unless there is a pull request attached to the issue, which you can download and then use to overwrite certain files in your 7.1.8 install then upgrading is the way to go. It will also fix other issues as well of course.
