    Querying Umbraco members DB REST API

    I assume Umbraco offer a REST API to enable authc requests against the Members DB from an external app? I'm seeing plenty of stuff about building rest api's for umbraco, and plenty about querying site content, but I can't find details of how the members DB is exposed by Umbraco.

    Just want to query the members DB from an external app for live authc's - seems like a pretty simple thing to do, but can't seem to find an API library for querying members!
