How to creat umbraco node from a standalone application

Hi,

I need to know how to create nodes in the umbraco content tree from a standalone .NET application.

I know how to dynamically create node from usercontrol that is already placed inside the umbraco instance folder.

but now i need to creat nodes from a standalone application.. need to connect to a specific umbraco instance to create content nodes in it.

plz help
