I'm 75% certain its to do with the Mcafee anti virus that is installed at my clients offices. The machines that Canvas does work on have Sophos installed whereas my PC has McAfee. The IT dept have scheduled in the removal of this software for tomorrow, so I'll know then.
Has anybody else seen any problems with Mcafee (AV and site advisor) and Canvas?
Canvas not working on certain machines
We have the following scenario:
- Umbraco installed ona Windows 7 Machine IIS 7
- 1 Document type, 1 template created
- Canvas works fine on most machines when trying to edit the Umbraco Item
- On two machines (the dev / host machine of the website) Canvas does not work. When clicking on the editable text nothing happens.
- I have tried Firefox, Chrome, IE 8 to no avail
Are there any know issues with Canvas and certain browser setups ?
(Umbraco 4.0.2 release is installed)
Most Canvas bugs should be solved in Umbraco 4.5.
I've tried 4.5 but I get the same problem.
