We've recently taken delivery of our new corporate site which wasn't thoroughly tested on our production platform of choice which is Windows 2008/IIS7. Unfortunately we're now experiencing significant problems with some elements of the build, I have posted other threads on this see..
Since attempting a switch over from classic mode to integrated mode in the app. pool, the Examine indexer simply stops working (Examine was retro fitted to our 4.0.4.2 build). Switch back to classic and all is good again!
In integrated mode, if we delete the index folders and force a re-index, they're re-created including a mountain of queue files, but it goes no further.
Our reasons for wanting to use integrated mode are described in the links above (problems with contour) and we also want to use directoryurls/aliases and a bunch of other features which work best in this mode.
If anyone has any experiences with Umbraco 4.0.x/Examine/Pro license on Windows 2008/IIS7 and can help us out i'd be much appreciated.
Examine.dll v 0.9.2 Lucene.net.dll v 2.9.2.1 web.config from standard distro for iis7/asp.net 3.5 with mods for examine.
