    Auto login for Admin Users

    Hi

I am sorry if this might have been answered elsewhere but I did doing a search and couldn't find anything.

I have setup and configured Umbraco at my workplace. Everything works fine. As this is our Intranet, we want to enable Windows authentication for the Umbraco Admin backoffice. Basically, what I want to do is create five users in Umbraco with varied content management roles (one as editor, two as publishers, etc,). But instead of making them login into the Admin backoffice, I want to put a sort of a "wrapper" class that will first validate them, assign them to a Umbraco user and then auto redirect them to the backoffice based on their login.

So, for example, if Peter is logging in, I would pick Peter's credentials from my AD, associate it to a user called "contentwriter" in Umbraco and log in to Umbraco (through code) and redirect Peter to the admin UI that he can see.

Is this possible? If so, can someone give me some pointers on how to go about this?

    Many thanks

    Anand
