Can anyone recommend a good CRM with API?

I know this isn't strictly Umbraco based but I have a client who needs a print quoting system.

The Umbraco site will build up a print job for a quote like "100 A4 Colour Posters".

I will then push the print job via the API to the CRM.

The CRM should then be able to

    • Allow the upload of the Artwork
    • Allocate the job to a member of staff
    • Mark the job as Low,medium, high importance
    • Mark the status of the job, Quote/Pre Production/Dispatch/Delivery
Maybe a long shot but would appreciate any recommendations.

You could maybe look at something like Basecamp? I haven't used it much personally, but a few of my clients use it, and I know it has a pretty extensive API.......

I've used Highrise (http://highrisehq.com/, same company that makes Basecamp) a bit and its' API:s, but I've only used it for viewing and not updating. Works quite well, and the customer is happy, but I don't have much experience with CRM systems so I wouldn't be able to tell if it's better or worse than other CRM systems.

Looking at your spec though I'm not sure it's a CRM you'd want or some sort of workflow engine/system?

    Regards,
    Magnus

Could you adapt the Contour workflow to do this? Maybe submitting the uploaded data to an external database. This would then be easy to manipulate in some user controls or even with other Contour forms.
