Regarding extension of Umbraco, is there any best practices, tips/tricks or general guidelines when building extensions for the CMS ?
Case: Customer want's several new controls, f.x. extending the menu so that a third button appears on already published pages - "Save but unpublish".
Should be implemented so that it can easily be transfered to next version of Umbraco - package ?
Should be independant of the current source in order to achieve the above - Stand-alone plugin/library ?
