We have managed to configure MSSE 2008 and 2010 to index our umbraco site, but in both instances the MS crawl doesn't seem to retrieve the last modified dates of umbraco pages so when results are sorted by date, it lists only MS Office files and PDFs at the top, with ASPX pages below. Is this because of SharePoint issues? Has anyone come across something similar?
We were thinking about adding some meta tags with last modified date and author info but would appreciate any advice from the umbraco gurus.
